Advance confirmation is required

Do not arrive unannounced. New visitors must make an enquiry and receive confirmation before attending. This allows the teacher to confirm that the session is running, explain access arrangements, and decide how a first visit should be handled.

Contribution, payment, age, suitability, and any special participation arrangements are confirmed directly before attendance rather than assumed from this page.

What training may include

  • Posture, body organisation, balance, timing, and movement quality.
  • Jurus, langkah, footwork, striking lines, entries, and close-range control.
  • Partner practice, practical applications, sensitivity, and correction.
  • Etiquette, restraint, attention, and conduct under pressure.
  • Supplementary breath-body or internal exercises where appropriate.

The core work is identified as Silat Cimande Asli Tarikolot. Related arts or supplementary material are described separately rather than blended into the lineage of the core transmission.

Your first visit

  1. Send a training enquiry with your location and relevant experience.
  2. Wait for written confirmation before travelling to the venue.
  3. Wear clean, modest, comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
  4. Do not buy specialist equipment until you have been advised what is needed.
  5. Tell the teacher privately about any injury, health limitation, or access need that may affect safe participation.

Training information is not medical advice. Seek qualified medical advice where an injury, illness, medication, or other condition may affect your ability to practise safely.

Beginners, experienced practitioners, and young people

Enquiries are welcome from people with different levels of martial arts experience. Attendance is not automatic and is confirmed according to the person, the session, and the teacher's judgement. Do not bring a person under 18 without explicit prior agreement and the necessary safeguarding arrangements.

Conduct and progression

Students are expected to listen carefully, practise with control, respect boundaries, and avoid filming or publishing material without permission. Attendance does not itself confer permission to teach, certify, appoint others, or represent Silat Cimande Asli Tarikolot publicly.

Core practice

Regular repetition, individual correction, and partner work build the art over time.

Responsible culture

Respect, restraint, humility, safeguarding, and proper representation are part of training.

Long-term development

Attendance, assisting, instructor development, and formal teaching authorisation are distinct stages.
