Bring Silat Cimande Asli Tarikolot to your group

Master Abdur Rahman Blanchette is available for suitable Silat Cimande Asli Tarikolot seminars, Pencak Silat workshops, private group study, and carefully planned national or international programmes.

The aim is a serious, proportionate event with clear teaching aims, proper practical support, and respect for the art, the teacher, the participants, and the host relationship.

Possible formats

Choose a structure that matches the group and purpose.

Format is agreed after the host brief is reviewed. A longer event is not automatically better; the useful question is what can be taught properly in the available time.

Introductory seminar

A carefully framed first encounter with the art, its training culture, core movement, and practical principles.

Focused study day

A defined subject studied in more depth, with enough time for explanation, repetition, correction, and partner practice.

Private group training

Direct teaching for a smaller invited group with agreed aims, experience level, and a quieter working environment.

Multi-day or continuing programme

A longer visit, repeated sessions, or a developing relationship planned around realistic progression and sustainable delivery.

Teaching scope

Core material is identified clearly.

A seminar may address posture, structure, jurus, langkah, movement, timing, entries, striking lines, close-range control, partner practice, balance disruption, takedowns, practical protection, etiquette, and responsible use of skill.

Associated Cimande material, Kuntao Silat, Malaysian Silat, or Southeast Asian breath-body and internal exercises may be considered where appropriate. They are labelled accurately and are not blended into the core Tarikolot transmission as though every subject has the same source.

Final content remains subject to the teacher's judgement, the experience of the group, available time, safety, and what can be taught responsibly.

Who the event may suit

  • Martial arts schools seeking a serious introduction.
  • Experienced practitioners studying close-range principles.
  • Private groups with a defined subject or development aim.
  • Community or cultural organisations with suitable facilities.
  • International hosts building a longer-term relationship.

The event is not marketed as an instant instructor certificate. Attendance does not confer teaching, certification, appointment, or representation authority.

Booking process

From first enquiry to a properly confirmed event.

1. Host brief

The host provides location, dates, group background, participant numbers, venue information, objectives, and practical support.

2. Suitability review

The organisation considers the purpose, audience, venue, safeguarding, travel, and whether the proposed format is appropriate.

3. Proposal

Subject, teacher, timetable, fee, travel, accommodation, local transport, equipment, media, and responsibilities are set out clearly.

4. Written confirmation

The event is confirmed only when both sides have agreed the essential terms in writing and any payment arrangement has been satisfied.

5. Delivery and follow-up

The host communicates final details, the seminar is delivered, and agreed photographs, feedback, records, or future steps are handled afterwards.

Commercial principle

Professional, sustainable, and proportionate.

Fees are agreed case by case so teaching time, preparation, travel, accommodation, and other necessary costs are handled sustainably. The aim is not an inflated one-off price, nor an informal arrangement that leaves essential costs uncovered.

A date, fee, travel booking, cancellation arrangement, or public announcement is not confirmed by the submission of a form. The agreed terms must be recorded in writing.

Structured host enquiry

Send a usable event brief.

Complete the fields with the information currently available. A careful first brief reduces unnecessary correspondence and makes it easier to assess suitability, costs, travel, and teaching format.

Confidential or unconfirmed events are not published. Public announcements begin only after written approval.

Submission starts a review. It does not reserve a date or confirm a fee, format, travel arrangement, or teaching commitment.
